Being at Hitchin Girls' School has given me the opportunity to do so many things I didn't even know existed when I was in primary school - including the arts award, and Duke Of Edinburgh. I am not particularly good at art or sport, but these allowed me to develop those skills in a way that was comfortable and enjoyable for me.
I've also been involved in school plays, school trips I visited Holland, Barcelona and Greece with school , reward trips, and clubs such as learning leaders. When I leave school, I hope to study to be a primary school teacher - through school, I have taken part in things such as the language leaders award, ambassador roles in food tech and helping someone in the lower years with her maths.
I think these things have given me more experience, to learn the skills, and to ensure that it is definitely the career I want to do! Hitchin Girls' School is a high-achieving single sex, all-ability school serving the local community with students on roll, including in the Sixth Form. In June we received an Outstanding rating from Ofsted. High levels of achievement, sound common sense, self-assurance and respect for others have been an integral part of our strong tradition for over years.
